Brian Huggins

President/CEO

Brian is the President of Valley United Insurance and has been here since the company started in 1987. Brian is a State of Michigan Licensed Agent, Advanced Certified Chartered Benefits Consultant, is Medicare Certified, and is a Certified Navigator with Healthcare.gov.

Brian specializes in Medicare, individual and group business.

Brad Huggins

Vice-President

Brad has been Vice-President of Valley United Insurance since the company started in 1987. Brad is a State of Michigan Licensed Agent along with being a Certified Navigator with Healthcare.gov.

Deb Neilson

Licensed Agent

Deb Neilson joined Valley United Insurance in 2003 and brought a wealth of knowledge from her position as Account Manager with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. Deb has more than 30 years of experience in health care and is extremely well respected in the industry. She is a State of Michigan Licensed Agent and is designated as an Advanced Certified Chartered Benefits Consultant. Deb specializes in the large group market assisting fully-insured, experience rated and self-insured customers. Deb’s book of business is very well diversified as she works with governmental entities such as Counties, Townships and Transportation Authorities as well as many different industries in the private sector.

Deb sits on the Agent Advisory for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and McLaren Health Plan, and is also a member of the Planning Committee for the Walk to End Alzheimer's.

Tim Teeples

Licensed Agent

Tim joined the Valley United Insurance team in 2007. Tim is a State of Michigan Licensed Agent, State of Ohio Licensed Agent along with being a Certified Navigator with Healthcare.gov.

James joined the Valley United Insurance team in 2005, and has more than 13 years of experience in the healthcare industry. He specializes in group, individual, and Medicare Plans.

Julie Tacktor

Licensed Agent

Julie started with Valley United Insurance Agency in August of 2017. Since then she has become a Licensed Agent with the State of Michigan and a Certified Navigator with Healthcare.gov. Julie specializes in group and individual business.

Julie is an Ambassador for the Saginaw County Chamber of Commerce, President of the Saginaw Township Business Association, member of the Steering Committee for the Saginaw Valley Young Professional Network, and Co-Chair for the Walk to End Alzheimer's - Saginaw.

Jessica Jacobs

Operations Manager

Jessica started with Valley United Insurance Agency in July 2014. She is a Licensed Agent with the State of Michigan and a Certified Navigator with Healthcare.gov. and serves as Valley's Operations Manager, and HIPAA Security and Privacy Officer.

Jessica works on large group business for Deb Neilson, Brian Huggins, and Brad Huggins.

She received her Bachelors Degree in Business from Northwood University, is a Bay County Chamber of Commerce member, Young Professional Network of Bay County member, and Leaders of Bay County Class of 2018 Alumni.

Amanda Hubert

Account Manager
